Medical Liaison Specialist

A Patient Services Associate is responsible for addressing patient queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. This role involves listening to patients' needs, understanding their concerns, and coordinating information with relevant stakeholders to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to incoming calls according to established protocols and standards.
- Assist patients in resolving their queries and concerns promptly.
- Collect outstanding balances from patients in a timely and respectful manner.
- Interact with third-party entities, such as insurance companies, to resolve account-related issues.
- Make outbound collection calls in accordance with company procedures and standards.
- Help patients understand their billing queries and concerns.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of patient data by adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Maintain a good attendance record and arrive on time for work and breaks.
- Preferably a college graduate or at least 2 years of college-level education.
- Relevant degrees or courses in the medical field are an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to handle confidential information.
- Basic mathematical calculations skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficient in email use.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Organized and able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
