We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team.

Job Description

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all organizational policies and procedures are current, systematically reviewed, and fully compliant with applicable standards and regulations. This includes curating and maintaining an indexed master library of current policies and archived versions, tracking and enforcing review cycles, and coordinating timely updates and re-approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Curation & Compliance
    • Curate and maintain an up-to-date master library of current policies and archived versions.
    • Track and enforce review cycles and coordinate timely updates and re-approvals.
    • Evaluate and update policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accrediting standards.
  • Regulatory Reporting Oversight
    • Maintain a calendar of required reports for licensing, funding, and accreditation entities.
    • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely generation and submission of required documentation.
  • Governance & Compliance Meetings
    • Schedule recurring meetings for compliance, quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management.
    • Document minutes and follow up on action items.
  • Policy Inquiry Response & Gap Resolution
    • Provide guidance to staff regarding existing policies and procedures.
    • Identify gaps in existing documentation and draft new policies or procedures when necessary.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Legal Studies, or a related field. Three to five years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or policy management within a healthcare or behavioral health organization is also preferred.

  • Three to five years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or policy management.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and accrediting standards.
  • Strong technical writing and document control skills.
