**About the Role**

As a Software Development Leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the IT agenda and strategy of the Asian Development Bank. You will be responsible for developing software development strategies, leading high-performing software delivery organizations, establishing standards for software engineering, and managing people and organization. Your expertise will drive the success of our digital transformation initiatives, enabling us to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

/ul>Develop software development strategies that align with ADB's architecture and ensure seamless integration of software.Lead the development of a high-performing software delivery organization that drives thought leadership and innovation.Establish standards for software engineering that ensure the highest quality and efficiency.Manage people and organization to drive business results and achieve strategic objectives.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or relevant fields.
* At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including international experience working in several countries.
* Experience in consumer-facing product development and external applications for business-to-business (B2B).
* Familiarity with relevant platforms and embedded systems on which the software solution is deployed. Experienced in applying the advantage of cloud computing platforms, human-centered design practices, and DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, test-driven development, continuous integration, automated testing, test data management, and loosely coupled architectures.
* Ability to improve developer experience.
* Broad knowledge of current and upcoming technologies, technology directions, and strategic applications to business needs.
* Familiarity with strategic agenda, resource planning, and related policy architecture of multilateral banks.
* Ability to write and verbally communicate in English.
* Ability to present written materials in an organized, logical, and succinct manner.
* Ability to collaborate with all types of internal and external clients.
