Accounting Specialist Role Overview

The role involves preparing financial statements and tax returns accurately and in line with Australian compliance requirements. You will work closely with Australian accountants and bookkeepers to support day-to-day client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS with high accuracy.
  • Supporting Australian accountants and bookkeepers with timely and accurate client information.
  • Maintaining records and ensuring timely lodgments.
  • Performing administrative tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting firm with a focus on Australian CPA/CA practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills for effective communication with team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Working Hours and Benefits:

Full-time position with a standard working week of 38 hours, Monday to Thursday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 9am-3pm AEST, with a 24-minute lunch break. Quarterly team bonding sessions are held in Pampanga.
