Medical Account Representative Role

A Medical Account Representative role at Harris Global Business Services involves addressing patient queries and concerns, understanding patient needs through listening and interviewing, and coordinating information among patients, family members, medical personnel, and administrative staff.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with facility policies and procedures, medical resources, and medical regulations to support patient healthcare treatment.

  • Answer incoming calls according to established procedure and departmental standards.
  • Provide assistance to patients in their queries and concerns.
  • Collect outstanding balances from patients.
  • Facilitate communication with third-party entities, such as insurance providers, regarding patients' accounts.
  • Make outbound collection calls according to procedure and departmental standards.
  • Assist patients with billing-related queries and concerns.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of protected health information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Promote a team-oriented environment and actively support department and company goals and policies.
  • Ensure reliable attendance and punctuality, minimizing breaks and maintaining productivity.
