EHS Coordinator Job Description

The EHS Coordinator role is a critical position that requires strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety practices to effectively implement them across various manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive EHS strategies that align with global standards
  • Lead site-level EHS teams in executing initiatives to reduce environmental footprint, improve worker safety, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on health and safety events, inspections, and other relevant data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training processes and facilitate their execution
  • Monitor and maintain production and safety inventory supplies through vendor management systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of work/educational experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of Lean methodology, environmental regulations, and health and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with EHS database programs
  • Leadership experience and ability to motivate teams
