Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at ESC Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all payroll duties for a key US client operating in the tech industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process payroll efficiently and accurately for the assigned US client, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Proactively manage and ensure accurate calculation and remittance of income tax, adhering to Philippine tax regulations, and minimizing end of year tax deficits.
- Efficiently manage allowances, deductions, and benefits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely and correct submission of statutory remittances, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
- Utilize payroll technology platforms to streamline and improve payroll processing. Knowledge of leading payroll systems is highly favorable.
- Maintain payroll records, generate reports, and ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations.
- Liaise with the US client as required to address payroll related inquiries and ensure service excellence.
- Provide support with ESC's regular payroll operations when required.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in payroll administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of Philippines payroll experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Philippine income tax regulations and government remittance requirements.
- Experience in administering employee allowances, benefits, and deductions.
- Strong proficiency in payroll systems and technology platforms.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with an international client.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional client engagement outside standard hours.
