Job Overview

The Senior Scrum Master plays a pivotal role in driving project success by facilitating collaboration and ensuring the smooth execution of software development projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain open communication channels among team members to foster a culture of transparency and trust.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed about project progress and milestones.
  • Deliver timely feedback to stakeholders, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
  • Cultivate and promote agile values, principles, and practices within the organization, aligning them with business objectives.
  • Design and execute onboarding programs for new scrum team members, focusing on knowledge transfer and skill enhancement.
  • Lead scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other critical events.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine, prioritize, and optimize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify and mitigate roadblocks hindering team progress, implementing process improvements as needed.
  • Stay adaptable and flexible, adjusting Agile practices to optimize software delivery and meet evolving business needs.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Scrum Master or similar roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
