Job Title: Tire Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Assembly Technician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality tires.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately weigh chemicals for rubber calculations.
  • Operate machinery to grind and shred rubber as needed.
  • Assemble tires by joining rubbers together and forming round shapes.
  • Apply silicone coatings according to tire department specifications.
  • Repair punctured tires and replace worn-out tires, ensuring proper pin joints to prevent separation during heating or curing.
  • Inspect and assess tires for damage, wear, and tear, rejecting them if necessary.
  • Work on the production assembly line, understanding the mechanics of the product.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure correct assembly and identify faults.
  • This is a physically demanding role requiring manual tasks and lifting.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety standards and promote dignity and diversity in the workplace.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene and wear provided uniforms appropriately.
