Property Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • Manage daily operations of assigned properties to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Oversee leasing activities: marketing units, screening tenants, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Utilize property management software (Yardi) to track tenant records, process payments, and generate reports.
  • Implement effective rent collection strategies and enforce lease compliance.
  • Coordinate property maintenance, inspections, and vendor services to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintain open communication with tenants to resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and track key performance metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in property management (residential or commercial).
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi Voyager, Breeze, or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of lease agreements, fair housing laws, and property regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple properties or tasks.
