Remote Collections Representative Role

We are seeking a skilled and professional Collections Representative to join our team. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email.

You will be required to negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach. Your primary goal will be to resolve outstanding balances while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

This role is ideal for individuals who are persuasive, professional, and results-driven. If you have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
  • Update account information and payment statuses.
  • Follow up on broken promises and missed payments.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience in collections or customer service preferred.
