Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial record management, report preparation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts in compliance with US GAAP
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
  • Performing month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entry postings, and accurate, organized reporting
  • Processing monthly revenue tasks, including reconciliations, posting of entries, and resolving discrepancies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in accounts receivable, payroll processing, accounts payable, and month-end close procedures
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Knowledgeable in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
  • Experience working with US-based SaaS companies
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
