Project Manager

At Traxion Tech Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our engineering organization in delivering projects on-time, on-budget, and on-scope. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project tasks, estimating effort and resource requirements, and laying out detailed project work plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Lead weekly team sprints using Agile methodologies (stories, backlogs, Kanban boards).
  • Create project schedules, send meeting notes, and follow up on progress to move the project forward.
  • Facilitate learning through postmortems and sprint retrospectives.
  • End-to-end project management and ownership of the entire Project Management Lifecycle and its process from beginning to end.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a technical project manager in a software development team.
  • Strong project management experience in complex environments, including end-to-end project experience of customers with various service solutions in scope.
  • Ability to adapt to quick-paced and changing priorities and manage multiple projects.
  • Good understanding of software development principles and operations processes.
  • Proven client-facing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a professional English level.
  • Must have very strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner with others and manage conflicts or complex relationships.
  • Deep practical experience implementing Agile and Scrum.
  • Being a Scrum Master in a previous role is preferred, but not required.
  • Past experience in the banking and financial services industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Practical experience using Jira for project management, reporting, and team management.
  • Experience in project management in a product-focused company is preferred, but not required.
  • Hands-on technical expertise and software development experience, especially in mobile and fintech, is highly preferred but not required.
