Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Job Matchmaker. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the government projects (LGUs and Institutions) and education segments (Schools, Colleges, Institutions).

About the Role:

  • You will be the primary point of contact for potential clients, responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling appointments.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct lead generation through active research for all target segments.
  2. Prospecting and qualifying potential new clients, including proper identification of decision-makers, influencers, and project management teams.
  3. Schedule and conduct cold calls with clients via phone and email.
  4. Set up appointments for product presentations, ocular inspections, and sales meetings.
  5. Participate in exhibitions and conferences on behalf of the company.
  6. Conduct opener visits and gather necessary requirements for supplier accreditation.
  7. Process necessary requirements for supplier accreditation.
  8. Send out company profiles, brochures, and other marketing materials to prospects and clients.
  9. Maintain accurate records of interactions with clients and prospects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the government projects and education segments is an asset.
