Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. As an experienced AP professional, you will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and deadlines.

Job Description:
  • Manage and Process Accounts Payable Transactions: Oversee the entire accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconcile Vendor Statements: Verify vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all accounts payable records and documentation are up-to-date and accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and expense reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Prepare and process payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and invoice inquiries.
  • Support ongoing process improvements to increase efficiency within the accounts payable function.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices, proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
