Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and experience with various software and systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, ensuring timely payments, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. Effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders is crucial.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
