As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking builds. You will test features across mobile and web applications, validating that they meet business and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop comprehensive test cases based on requirements and design documents.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes.
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases.
  • Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts is a plus.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory/compliance needs.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is a plus).
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
  • Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
