Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Electrical Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and compiling accurate material and labor estimates for electrical projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review electrical plans, specifications, and addenda to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs for devices, wiring, conduits, panels, switchgear, lighting, and other systems.
  • Use digital takeoff tools to measure and quantify materials with high accuracy.
  • Prepare organized takeoff sheets and data for the estimating team to facilitate efficient workflow.
  • Coordinate with senior estimators to clarify scope and resolve drawing discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Track and maintain project takeoff files to ensure seamless communication.
  • Update estimating workbooks with vendor quotes and revised quantities to reflect changes in project scope.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimating, takeoffs, or drafting, preferably with proficiency in digital takeoff software.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.

  • Proficiency in takeoff and estimating software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
