This role involves helping clients maximize their opportunities by designing scalable data solutions aligned to business needs. The successful candidate will have experience with data architecture & storage, data integration & transformation, testing, monitoring & optimization, advanced analytics & reporting, and collaboration & documentation.

  • Data Architecture & Storage: Designing robust data models, flows, and storage using Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL, as well as managing master data with Profisee and integrating with existing systems.
  • Data Integration & Transformation: Building and managing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools, ingesting data from APIs and external systems into the Azure ecosystem, and implementing ETL/ELT logic to prepare data for consumer use.
  • Testing, Monitoring & Optimization: Ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity across all stages, troubleshooting performance issues and fine-tuning data pipelines, and using Azure monitoring tools and Purview for data estate management.
  • Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Developing OLAP cubes and tabular models with SSAS, writing complex MDX and DAX queries for data analysis, and integrating data models with Power BI, Excel, and SSRS for reporting.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Working closely with analysts, developers, and business leaders to translate needs into data-driven solutions, documenting architectures, processes, and providing support/training as needed, and participating in Agile sprints and contributing to continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, database development, or architecture.
  • Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL, and lakehouse architecture.
  • Master data management using Profisee software.
  • Management of data estate using Purview software.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services: ADF, Fabric, Synapse, Data Lake, Purview, etc.
  • Experience with master data management (Profisee preferred).
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and API integration.
  • Hands-on experience with SSAS (tabular & OLAP models), MDX, and DAX.
  • Experience managing performance, data pipelines, and complex data models.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
