Cloud Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions in Azure.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and delivering creative cloud solutions, participating in technical envisioning, design, and delivery of assigned projects, working with solution architects to support project efforts from a technical perspective, executing implementation of designed solutions into client deliverables, and assisting with design and deployment of client workloads into Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and deliver innovative cloud solutions.
  • Participate in technical planning, design, and delivery of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to support project efforts from a technical standpoint.
  • Execute implementation of designed solutions into client deliverables.
  • Support design and deployment of client workloads into Azure.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in system administration, DevOps, and/or software development and IT operations.
  • 5+ years project experience migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible.
  • Hands-on implementation experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and/or Bamboo.
  • 3+ years implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies (or demonstrated experience with AWS or GCP).
  • Automation experience with strong scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.
  • Experience with various cloud deployment methodologies.
  • Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.
