Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. You are a proactive engineer who thrives in environments where you can automate and improve existing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the stability and performance of production systems.
  • Create automation scripts to streamline processes.
  • Develop and manage monitoring systems to proactively address issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar role.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design, performance tuning, and advanced querying techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or SigNoz.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Typescript.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Above and Beyond:
  • Experience working in a startup environment and excited to tackle new challenges.
  • Knowledge or experience with low-code tools or robotic process automation.
