Job Title: IT Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of an IT Business Analyst. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The IT Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project managers to ensure scope definition and tracking.
  • Gather and document requirements for IT systems, enhancements, and features.
  • Evaluate existing business solutions, identify requirements, and develop strategies to maximize opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings to elicit requirements from business users and stakeholders.
  • Review documents from business users and stakeholders as inputs to requirements gathering activities.
  • Write Business Requirements Documents, Business Process Documents, and Requirements Traceability Matrix.
  • Defect management by prompt turnaround of defects from reporting to verification, and closure.
  • Translate Business Requirements into test cases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' experience in performing Business Analysis in Software Engineering or Software Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Bug Tracking tools such as Jira, Mantis, or BugZilla.
  • Good understanding of the project lifecycle, documentation, standards, and methodologies.
