Bookkeeper/Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial management, including expertise in financial statements, budgeting, and tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track expenses, manage budgets, handle taxes, monitor cash flow, review receipts, oversee payroll, and other financial transactions for our clients.
  • Prepare and review comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an accountant/bookkeeper is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficient in utilizing QuickBooks software.
  • Knowledge of other accounting software is beneficial.
  • CPA license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciliation, and taxes is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge in US GAAP is highly valuable.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and analytical skills are crucial for this role.

Candidates will be asked to complete one or two brief assessments to evaluate their competencies in the above-mentioned skills. Applicants who perform well on these assessments will then be invited to a face-to-face interview via Zoom.
