Job Title: Data Encoder

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Data Encoder. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering, verifying, and maintaining data in our company databases and Excel spreadsheets while ensuring confidentiality and completeness.

  • Encode raw data accurately and efficiently into Excel spreadsheets and/or company databases
  • Review and verify data for errors or inconsistencies
  • Maintain and update records to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Organize, sort, and prepare source documents for data entry
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all handled information
  • Generate simple reports or summaries when needed
  • Support other administrative tasks related to data management

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle large volumes of information efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for detecting and correcting errors
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, basic formulas) and other Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools
  • Familiarity with database systems or data management tools is an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Prior experience in data entry/encoding is a plus but not always required
