Backend Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that power scalable, high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs.
  • Develop and manage public-facing APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient access.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
  • Implement observability practices using tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to align backend architecture with product needs.

A strong foundation in Python, SQL, and AWS technologies is required, with additional expertise in geospatial data and observability tools. 5 years of backend software development experience, including building public-facing API products, is also necessary.

Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
  • Experience with geospatial data and observability tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
