Credentialing professionals play a vital role in ensuring healthcare providers meet regulatory requirements.


About the Role

In this entry-level position, you will provide comprehensive support for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing. This includes managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of healthcare providers' credentials
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as accreditation standards
  • Coordinate with external entities, such as licensing boards and payers, on credentialing-related matters
  • Prepare necessary documentation and facilitate new provider onboarding processes
  • Suggest improvements to existing workflows and contribute to process optimization

Requirements

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM software is also required. A foundational understanding of data entry, documentation, and administrative workflows is highly valued.
