We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our team at CallTek. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be proficient in learning new software, and have experience with insurance verifications and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients.
- Code claims using accepted codes provided by the healthcare provider.
- Scrubbethroughclaims to identify potential issues and resubmit as needed.
- Submit claims electronically within 72 hours of service date.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and reconciliation with bookkeepers.
- Ensure up-to-date credentialing with each insurer for added providers or departures.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Multi-tasking skills, including phone calls and data entry.
