As a Medical Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the billing process for healthcare services. Your key objective will be to ensure accurate and timely payment from insurance companies.
The job requires effective communication with patients, via phone or email, to resolve billing issues and negotiate payment plans. You will also need to maintain detailed records of all communications and actions taken in the collections process.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent written and verbal English skills. Previous experience in handling US Healthcare accounts, claim denial/rejections, and HMO Billing is highly desirable. Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management/Accounts Receivable is also an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting patients to discuss outstanding balances and address billing concerns.
- Working closely with insurance companies to resolve claims denials, rejections, or discrepancies.
- Negotiating payment plans with patients based on their financial situation.
- Confirming and updating patient demographic and insurance information for accurate billing.
- Maintaining detailed records of all communications and actions taken in the collections process.
Required Skills:
- At least 1 year BPO experience handling US Healthcare accounts.
- A good working knowledge of US Healthcare and Claim Denial / Rejections.
- Experience in HMO Billing and Revenue Cycle Management/Accounts Receivable is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Billing for Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
