Accountant Position Overview

The role of Accountant is pivotal in overseeing the financial transactions of real estate properties, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize specialized software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial data.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with specialized software (required).
    • Strong skills in QuickBooks Online with a proven track record of accurate bookkeeping.
    • In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

This position requires a strong background in real estate accounting, with extensive knowledge of AppFolio and QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will be able to provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions.
