
Property Financial Manager

This is a key role within our team, responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for multiple properties. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join us in this position.
About the Role:
Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties, including accounts payable and receivable, vendor bills, and tenant payments.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
- Reconcile bank accounts, trust accounts, and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare owner statements, financial reports, and draw schedules to support business operations.
- Monitor and manage tenant ledgers, security deposits, and lease-related transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with property managers to resolve discrepancies and support audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and real estate-specific accounting standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial preparations to support business growth and development.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- CPA or Bookkeeping Certification (a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate
- Proven expertise in AppFolio software (required)
- Experience managing financials for multiple properties or portfolios
Skills & Tools:
You will need to possess advanced proficiency in the following tools and technologies:
- AppFolio, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
