Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing vendors, as well as providing procurement and negotiation support.

The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement and construction, with experience in vendor management and negotiation. They will also have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of Business Administration, Engineering, or related courses
  • 1–2 years of work experience in procurement, preferably in construction or related industry
  • Background in procurement and construction is required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools
Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Sourcing & Management
  2. Source contractors, local suppliers, and international vendors/contractors based on project requirements
  3. Maintain and update a database of reliable suppliers and vendors
  4. Procurement & Negotiation Support
  5. Assist in all pre-sales and procurement processes including canvassing, proposal gathering, and initial vendor negotiations
  6. Conduct cost-benefit analysis and vendor comparisons for endorsement to Senior Procurement Officer for final review and approval
  7. Project & Site Support
  8. Conduct site visits to ensure proper mobilization of manpower, deliveries, and equipment
  9. Monitor the progress of Cebu-based projects and report updates to the Manila Procurement team
  10. Administrative Support
  11. Prepare reports, documentation, and procurement records
