The closing coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of real estate transactions. Success in this position means managing administrative and transactional tasks with precision, maintaining high levels of accuracy, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Transaction Management:
- Complete real estate escrow transactions by fulfilling all necessary requirements.
- Collect and review required documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and review CD/HUD forms using lender instructions, ensuring accurate financial calculations and documentation.
- Assemble, prepare, and review all closing documents before the closing date to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Calculate prorated taxes and interest to ensure accurate financial disbursements at closing.
- Prepare and disburse checks as part of the closing process, ensuring correct fund allocation and distribution.
- Balance and disburse funds to close escrow accounts, ensuring accurate and compliant financial transactions.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Adhere to regulatory requirements by following legal and industry standards throughout the closing process.
- Maintain high standards of compliance by ensuring documentation and processes meet regulatory requirements.
- Client Experience Enhancement:
- Explore opportunities to add value to the client experience, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout the closing process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
