Job Description:

We are seeking a Specialist in Technology Transfer to facilitate the provision of appropriate technology transfer through structured support and funding for small enterprises nationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing small enterprises, developing business cases, administering the technology transfer fund, establishing and maintaining accurate databases, verifying supplied technologies, contributing to policy reviews, conducting impact analyses, and conducting awareness workshops.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering

• Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce or Engineering or in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering as an added advantage

• 4-6 years' experience in the field of technology transfer and technology needs assessment, assessment of viability and sustainability of small enterprises, and thorough understanding of science and technology sector
