HR Intern Job Description

At Executive Optical, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources department. As an HR Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting with various tasks related to managing employee relations, recruitment, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings on job boards and company websites, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records in HR databases or filing systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • HR Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and organizing files, as well as assist in managing HR-related correspondence and communications.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Training and Development: Assist in coordinating and organizing training sessions, workshops, and development programs, and track employee training records and manage training materials.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, and assist in answering employee questions about benefits and processing related paperwork.
  • Payroll Support: Help with the preparation and processing of payroll by verifying timesheets and assisting with data entry.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in gathering and analyzing HR data for reports, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment metrics, and help prepare HR reports and presentations for management review.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in HR training sessions and workshops to gain knowledge about HR practices and industry trends, and seek feedback and guidance to improve skills and understanding of HR functions.
Qualifications:
  • Studying BS in Psychology or any related program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Requirements:

  • Signed School Endorsement
  • Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by the authorized school representative
  • Notarized written consent with valid ID from his/her parents or legal guardian
  • Copies of the following school documents:
  • a. A scanned copy of the School Identification Card
  • b. Proof of School Registration/ Enrollment with Class Schedule (Current Semester)
