General Summary:

The Human Resource Assistant supports the team in promoting the company's values and principles through the timely delivery of different HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and administrative tasks and participate in the creation of innovative engagement programs that guarantee the success of the business, its stakeholders, and individual employees.


Primary duties and responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and digital formats. Ensure compliance with Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No Prepare and process employment contracts, amendments, and separation documents. Assist in the creation and updating of HR forms and policies.Arrange interviews, HR meetings, and training sessions. Handle logistical arrangements for HR events and activities. Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in drafting job postings and advertisements on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and recruitment agencies.Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication between candidates and the hiring team.Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome kits, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of all required documentation. Employee Relations and Engagement: Be able to address day-to-day basic employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Provide support in resolving minor employee issues and conflicts.Assist in organizing and implementing employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, wellness programs, and company celebrations. Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws, including the Labor Code of the Philippines and DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) regulations. Keep up with updates and changes in legislation.Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of employee records and HR documentation. Handle sensitive information with discretion. Training and Development: Support the planning and execution of training programs, workshops, and seminars. Track and manage employee training records.Assist in identifying training needs and development opportunities for employees. HR Projects and Initiatives: Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management processes, employee surveys, and HR system upgrades.Assist in gathering data for HR reports and metrics, including attendance, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
