Freight Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding and CargoWise One.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage shipment data, including ETA checking and job updates.
  • Register shipments and consolidations efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Update order track reports and send worksheets as required.
  • Process transshipments, commercial documents, and invoices promptly.
  • Lodge sea cargo automation and upload Telex HBL/MBL documents.
  • Send arrival notices and LCL manifests to stakeholders.
  • Create organizations and encode relevant information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or a related field.
  • Knowledge of EDI and Incoterms principles.
  • Familiarity with CargoWise or similar systems.
  • Related work experience in a freight or brokerage firm.
  • Prioritize data entry within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Effective communication skills for email, chat, and online meetings.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
