Product Development Role Overview

The Product Developer will be responsible for driving the development of innovative products from concept to launch.

This is a remote full-time position requiring strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop product concepts based on market research and customer feedback, working closely with cross-functional teams to transform ideas into commercial products.
  • Collaborate with the PD Lead to identify development needs within existing product ranges, including new variations, design updates, and running change improvements.
  • Conduct thorough market research to evaluate new product ideas and validate them through customer-centric approaches.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, specification, and brand standards.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including product designers, legal, compliance, and quality teams, to communicate requirements to suppliers and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work with marketing teams or external agencies to deliver marketing-related assets according to timeline and brand guidelines, and collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate costs and MOQs.
  • Manage project timelines, keep stakeholders updated, and ensure each project is completed and launched on schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development, ideally in the baby, kids, or toys categories, with end-to-end experience from ideation to mass production.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of Western consumer markets (US & Europe) for product decisions.
