Accounting Manager Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and proactive accounting professional to lead and own internal finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial modeling, as well as experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm or similar environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and analyze the three core financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Manage vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow report to support liquidity management.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
  • Provide scenario analysis and cash flow projections to management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA preferred; ACCA/CA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial or senior role, preferably in a Big 4 Accounting firm or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with U.S. tax law (Singapore tax experience a plus).
