Job Title: Insurance Advisor Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Advisor Assistant to join our team. As an Insurance Advisor Assistant, you will work closely with our advisors to prepare and implement financial plans for clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong comprehension, logical reasoning, and analytical skills, as well as excellent English language communication skills in both written and verbal.

In this role, you will assist advisors in creating comprehensive financial plans for clients, conduct research on insurance products and financial concepts, and analyze financial needs analysis reports to support the development of financial plans.

You will also collaborate with advisors to identify appropriate investment strategies based on client needs and goals, attend client meetings to present and review financial plans, and manage and update client information in our database.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role in the insurance industry is preferred
  • Accounting or similar experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills
  • Good with math and comfortable working with numbers
  • Familiarity with legal documents related to insurance products
  • A desire to become an expert in both insurance products and advice preparation
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in calculations and materials prepared
  • Self-starter, has the ability to work independently and takes initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
