Key Technology Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Technology Engineer to work on our Linux-based infrastructure and applications, covering all layers of the stack. This includes bare metal, virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and open source applications running on top of them.

  • This role deals with critical issues in the open source stack requiring upstream bug fixes. Our engineers must be able to work productively at any level of the stack, including the kernel, and in various programming languages to understand and address software issues.
  • You will assist with troubleshooting and drive issues to resolution using workarounds, guidance, and bug fixes to be released upstream.

The ideal candidate will have an exceptional academic background in Computer Science or related field, experience with Linux and open source software, and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, C, or C++). Additionally, they should be driven to learn new technologies and tackle complex problems.
