Software Development Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking highly skilled Software Development Specialists to design and maintain innovative software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, a deep understanding of modern GNU/Linux distributions, and experience with container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software tools to support the development process.
  • Collaborate with external open-source projects to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Expand the snap build ecosystem by leveraging various languages, toolchains, frameworks, integrations, and CI systems.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Strong comprehension of modern GNU/Linux distribution architecture.
  • Experience with container technology, including Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD.
  • Good understanding of build systems and toolchains for cross-compilation.
