Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Patient Financial Outreach Coordinator. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients are informed about their financial responsibilities prior to appointments and that all financial communications are accurately documented.

This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of accuracy when entering data to avoid errors that could impact patient billing or care coordination.

The successful candidate will proactively reach out to patients to review co-pays, balances, and payment options. They will provide clear explanations of billing statements and assist with setting up payment plans when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately documenting all patient interactions, financial discussions, and related information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Working closely with intake, clinical, and billing teams to ensure accurate information flow.
  • Escalating complex patient or insurance issues for resolution.

The selected candidate will be required to have prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare accounts receivable. Proficiency in English (spoken and written), strong organizational skills, accuracy, and time management are also essential. Additionally, the ability to manage sensitive patient information with integrity (HIPAA compliance) is crucial.
