Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Financial Administrator to support the financial operations of our clients. As a key member of our team, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple accounts, ensure accurate records, and provide financial clarity that helps our clients focus on growth.

Part-Time: ~10 hours/week (with potential to grow to full-time)

Schedule: Flexible, but must be available for regular catch-ups in AEST

Location: Fully Remote

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, categorizing expenses, and invoice management
  • Clear existing backlog of bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
  • Generate and send client invoices, track payments, and issue reminders as needed
  • Handle international transfers via Airwallex and similar platforms
  • Manage retainer billing for select clients
  • Track and organize financial records across multiple revenue streams
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports
  • (Optional) Support with tax preparation and filing
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience (at least 1 year), ideally with small or creative businesses
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Experience handling international transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Comfortable with remote tools (Google Drive, QuickBooks, Slack/WhatsApp)
