Bookkeeping Specialist

A US bookkeeper is responsible for recording general ledger transactions, ensuring accurate classification and compliance with internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record general ledger transactions, including accruals and month-end adjustments.
- Monitor tasks of other teams and ensure timely compliance during month-end closing process.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and provide detailed schedules and insights.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align entries with budget expectations and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years working with a US based accounting firm as a bookkeeper.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite and QuickBooks Online.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
