Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting by leading month-end close processes.
  • Extract and analyze reports from Xero, developing and maintaining Excel-based financial models (including three-way forecasting).
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cost control cycle.
  • Manage intercompany journals, transactions, and reconciliations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Consolidate reporting across different regions.
  • Reconcile subscription revenue using Stripe data, ensuring accuracy in recurring revenue streams.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, delivering confidence and clarity around numbers.
  • Prepare SaaS Metrics reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in finance processes.
  • Ensure tax compliance – income tax, transfer pricing, GST, FBT.
  • Compile monthly Management Reporting and oversee Year End Financial Statement compilation.
Qualifications
  • CA or CPA qualification with relevant experience.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Experience leading month-end close processes – end to end, and intercompany accounting and reporting.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Exposure to SaaS or subscription revenue models preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with Stripe preferred.
Skills
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, including financial and three-way modeling.
  • Experience with month-end close and intercompany accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and deliver reliably.
