Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update accurate and timely financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Prepare and file compliant tax returns with regulatory bodies.
  • Manage payroll processing and prepare payroll returns accurately and on schedule.
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating comprehensive financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that meet accounting standards.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and decision-making support.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations to apply industry best practices.
  • Provide high-quality support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed to maintain financial integrity.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant with a strong focus on QuickBooks, tax returns, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and payroll processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex financial issues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping to ensure reliability.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently to contribute to the team's success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate financial insights.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is highly valued but not mandatory.
