ICT Systems Specialist

As an ICT systems specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on industry-defining projects, designing and developing technical solutions based on existing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Skills:
    • Collaborate with clients to translate technology and functional objectives into smart building solutions.
    • Prepare and document technology requirements and specifications.
    • Design and develop technical solutions based on existing technologies.
    • Evaluate technology options and identify gaps in current infrastructure.
    • Develop technical documentation and support project stakeholders.
    • Work with vendors to specify technology components and software/hardware requirements.
    • Ensure quality control of technical submissions and endorse them to project managers.
  • Commercial and Project Management Skills:
    • Record man-hour charges accurately and ensure correctness of project and non-project charges.
  • People Management and Teamwork:
    • Participate in team activities, including learning and development, social events, and other related activities.
  • Professional Development:
    • Take responsibility for defined tasks and contribute to organisational goals.
    • Gain experience and proficiency in new technologies and procedures.
    • Become familiar with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by your manager or the organisation.
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Relevant post-graduate experience in IT areas including engineering design, network architecture, data centre management, IT project management, and cloud development.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Proficient in relevant tools and technologies such as Cisco, BICSI, and others.
    • Able to analyse complex information, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
    • Ability to master new skills and adapt to changing situations.
