Senior Real Estate Financial Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Real Estate Accounting Specialist with in-depth knowledge of AppFolio and QuickBooks Online to oversee our company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Utilize AppFolio to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate financial data.
- Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with property managers and other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AppFolio (required).
- Strong QuickBooks Online skills with proven track record of accurate bookkeeping.
- In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
