Acquisitions Analyst Job Description

As a key member of the commercial real estate investment team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data and market trends to identify lucrative opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments, including review of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  • Carry out comprehensive market research and analysis to inform investment decisions, pinpointing key trends and competitors.
  • Develop high-quality presentation decks to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assist in property-level due diligence, encompassing lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordination with external parties.
  • Provide administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as real estate, finance, or accounting is required.
  • Prior experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions is preferred.
  • Mastery of advanced Excel modeling skills is essential.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities.
  • Familiarity with top consulting firms or financial institutions is an asset.
  • Latin honors (cum laude or better) from a reputable university is preferred.
