About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As an AI Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for architecting our AI-first future and owning the entire AI strategy across our ClinicOS platform.

You will work directly with the Head of Engineering and the CEO to build AI systems that deliver world-class healthcare at software scale. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision, requiring strong programming skills using Typescript and/or Python, as well as experience leading engineering team members.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of highly relevant experience in software engineering with a focus on AI and machine learning, including strong experience building production applications powered by LLMs. They will also possess a maniacal sense of urgency and be comfortable building user-friendly interfaces using React or similar frameworks.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to automate clinical workflows, build AI assistants that enhance our providers, and create systems that scale to 100 million patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead our AI systems across the entire company, focusing on core AI infrastructure, AI-powered clinical care, AI-powered growth, and data & experimentation.
  • Develop a model-agnostic AI platform that lets us switch between OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models seamlessly, while ensuring robust A/B testing, intelligent routing, and comprehensive monitoring.
  • Drive AI adoption across our clinical operating system, automating manual processes, creating AI assistants, and measuring impact rigorously.
  • Leverage AI to transform our conversion funnel, using personalized outreach sequences and AI sales agents to close deals, and targeting human-level conversion rates.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of highly relevant experience in software engineering with a focus on AI and machine learning.
  • Strong experience building production applications powered by LLMs, including prompt and context engineering, RAG systems, model fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills using Typescript and/or Python.
  • Experience leading engineering team members.
  • Maniacal sense of urgency and comfort building user-friendly interfaces using React or similar frameworks.
